Swimming Thanks

Our swimming programme at the Tawa School Pool was awesome. Small groups and good instructors meant that the children made great progress. Thank you to all who were able to help us.

Topic “ Outer Space”

This term we will be learning about our Solar System and how life on Earth depends on the Sun

TRIP TO CARTER OBSERVATORY ’Space Place’ 26/5 We will be leaving school at 9.15am and travelling by bus. Children will need to bring their lunch, drink and a jacket. We will also be travelling on the Cable Car and walking through the Botanical Gardens.

RE– Weeks 1-5 We will be learning about the Holy Spirit and Pentecost and then because this is the special Year of Mercy for our church, we will be learning about Mercy:  How Jesus showed Mercy and how we live Mercy.

Library visits:  Our classes visit the local library, once a term, on a Tuesday. Please return any of these books to the Tawa Library.   

PE-We are currently training for our cross country which will be held on Friday 20 May. Come along and support us! Children will need to bring their sports shoes for this event.

On Thursdays, Weeks 1-4 we will have soccer training.

Big Air Gym: Mondays, Weeks 5-10

1st session 30/5 Girls will need to wear shorts under their

tunics.
